BLACK BEAN CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
INGREDIENTS:
▫️1/2 cup gf oat flour (oats blended)
▫️1/2 tsp baking powder
▫️240g black beans (1 can drained weight)
▫️2 tbsp cacao powder
▫️60g 100% peanut butter
▫️50ml maple syrup/ honey/ agave
METHOD:
▫️Preheat the oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place on the side.
▫️In a food processor, add all the wet ingredients and combine well.
▫️Add the dry ingredients and blend until dough is formed. The mixture will be slightly sticky.
▫️Pour mixture into baking tray and evenly distribute. Bake for 15-18 minutes, take out when the middle is slightly moist.
Chocolate Protein Frosting
Combine 30g chocolate protein powder with liquid of choice or 1 tbsp yogurt + milk. Mix until a paste is formed and spread evenly on the brownie. Place in the fridge for 1hr to set before cutting.
