CHOCOLATE CHAI PROTEIN FLAPJACKS

INGREDIENTS:
▫️ 2 cups oats (gluten-free if needed)
▫️1/2 cup chocolate protein powder + 1/3 cup, divided
▫️2 tsp ground cinnamon
▫️2 medium banana, mashed
▫️3 tbsp milk
▫️1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon chai spiced almond butter, divided
▫️pinch of salt
METHOD:
▫️Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
▫️In a large bowl, add oats, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
▫️Add banana, 1/4 cup chai spice nut butter and 2 tbsp milk. Stir until a firm dough forms, kneading with your hands if necessary.
▫️Add dough to the lined baked pan and press down to form into an even layer.
▫️In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup chocolate protein powder, 1 tbsp chai spiced nut butter and 1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk; stir until smooth.
▫️Pour protein frosting over the dough and spread into an even layer.
▫️Place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, then cut into 12 bars. Store in refrigerator.
