CHOCOLATE OAT BARS


INGREDIENTS:

▪️2 cups rolled oats 
▪️1/3 cup maple syrup (or honey)
▪️1/3 cup + 2tbsp keto butter 
▪️2 tbsp coconut oil 
▪️150g chocolate

METHOD:
1. Bake the oats for 10 min on 200C or until lightly golden brown to get that extra crunch. 
2. In a bowl, add the oats and coconut oil and mix well. 
3. Add 1/3 cup keto butter and maple syrup and mix until well combined.
4. On a baking tray, add 3/4 of the oat mixture and flatten well.
5. Allow to set in the freezer for 30 minutes.
6. Melt the chocolate and mix in 2 tbsp keto butter. 
7. Spread the chocolate on top of the oat layer and sprinkle over the remaining amount of oat mixture.
8. Place in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes and cut  into bars.
